Hey now! She's still cute, right...? Her sister got experimental with some psychedelic drugs. Some friends of mine had these strawberry shortcake stamps. And I love playing with stamps. Alas! Now strawberry shortcake is all over my bathroom wall. I was a bit sleep deprived. But I like stamps. A lot.
Done in adobe illustrator for my final project. Our assignment was to make a magazine cover, but I'd rather just show you the drawing without the type-placement!
These were from Peter Emmerich's life drawing sessions.
These three were during my second semester. The last one is still my favorite drawing of Kim's face I've ever done. I'm ashamed to have taken these on photobooth with my macbook.
More-so recent drawings. From Sal Catalano's class.
My coloring from last semester was a lot better compared to this semester. Now when I color from life, all my models look like they're on acid.
Apologies for the terrible-quality of these photos. Critics, warmly welcomed.
This is why I will never get a job writing children's books.
Originally, this was for typography where we were told to write and illustrate a short story. While this project is about...three weeks late, I wanted to make it my own as it's the only project in this class that I actually wanted to put effort in. Type is not really my...forte.
It's been a while. Should I get the death penalty?
Her ears are crooked. It's really bothering me.
The entire class had to sit down for three hours and paint fruit (and some lone garlic cloves). After three hours I still did not finish. I fail.
From very very very early of this semester. We had to paint from a black and white picture upside down in blue watercolor paint (this color actually makes me cringe). She's kind of creepy looking, no?
This is me trying to be experimental, but failed miserably.
So...next time will either be life drawings, or a 4 paged story. Or maybe another month of not posting. We shall see.
Some sketches on my trip to Atlanta. This was during at the very end of September.
Overall, it was a really wonderful trip. Apologies for the terrible drawings...
And here, some sketches I did of my halloween night.
There were some really beautiful dancers and preformers acting out one of Edward Gorey's mysteries (who murdered who?) It was a wonderful party, and I only wish that more friends of mine would have came.
