Oils

Until a few months ago, I've never touched oils.

Painted in greyscale first before going straight to color.

Finished product; it was a lot of fun. It's a terrible photo though.

of the new year. How lame is it that I'm awake really early with no hangover and not feeling like a hot mess?

I haven't touched my watercolors in a while, and I just found a very strong re-newed love for them again. Made this on a whim after re-watching The Red Balloon which brought back happy childhood memories!
